Greg James is an award winning Radio/TV presenter and writer. He currently presents every weekday on BBC Radio 1’s Drive Time show from 4-7pm, as well as being a lead presenter for the international coverage of cricket on BT Sport. Other television work includes THE BBC Three comedy ‘Dead Air’ which he co-wrote and starred in, presenting WWE Documentary `Superstar Wrestlers` for BBC and guest hosting on ‘The One Show’ alongside Alex Jones.
2015 saw Greg James win a Sony Award for his BBC Radio 5Live show ‘Not Just Cricket’. This year Greg took on the gruelling ‘Gregathalon’, completing five triathlons, in five days, across five UK cities which raised over £1MILLION in support of Sport Relief, which he later went on to host in the live telethon.
Greg will be co-hosting this year’s Children in Need live for the first time on BBC 1 in November. His latest writing project sees Greg paring up with Radio 1 presenter Chris Smith to pen a children’s book called ‘Kid Normal’, due to be released by Bloomsbury in the UK in 2017 and the US in 2018.
Greg James has also won many other awards for his broadcasting including Gold Radio Academy Award for ‘Best Entertainment Show’ and Student Radio Award for ‘Best Male Presenter’. This year, Greg defended his title and took home the The Audio and Radio Industry (Aria) Award for ‘Best Entertainment Show’.
