Dominic Byrne was the newsreader on the hugely successful Chris Moyles Breakfast Show broadcast daily on BBC Radio One, and now presents the news on London's favourite Breakfast Show with our very own Dave Berry on Capital FM.

In January 2004, Dominic became a permanent member of the team that launched the new Chris Moyles Breakfast Show, hosting popular features such as Get Dom on it and One Road Travel.

Norwich-born Dominic Anthony Byrne worked as a freelance journalist before joining Radio One in 1997 and is the co-founder and singer in comedy folk band, Folk Face with Comedy Dave. Folkface performed at Leeds Castle for Radio 1's Big Weekend 2008, headlined the BBC introducing stage the the Big Weekend in Maidstone, and played Glastonbury TWICE! 

Dom also presents Newsbeat's Odd Box, a four-minute video filled with the strangest and most wonderful news of the week.
