Dave Vitty, aka Comedy Dave, is one of the most recognised voices on British radio. For the last 8 years Dave has been part of the Chris Moyles Show on BBC Radio 1 weekday mornings as the co-host and self appointed Director of Comedy.

Comedy Dave worked with Chris Moyles for 5 years on the afternoon show on Radio One before landing the coveted breakfast show in 2004.

Dave's other great radio partnership is with Mark "Chappers" Chapman on BBC Radio 5 Live. The pair have proved themselves an impressive double act regularly standing in for all sorts of shows on Radio 1. In December 2006, they won the celebrity edition of The Weakest Link and have raised money for both Sport Relief and Comic Relief.

In March 2011, Dave Vitty and Chris Moyles broke the Guiness World Record for the longest marathon radio DJ (team) after broadcasting their BBC Radio 1 show for 52 hours and raised a massive £2.6 million for Comic Relief.

During Dave's time on the Radio 1 breakfast show he joined forces with Dominic Byrne to create 'Folkface', the house band of the breakfast show. They played at Leeds Castle for Radio 1's Big Weekend 2008, headlined the BBC introducing stage the the Big Weekend in Maidstone, and played Glastonbury TWICE!

Dave Vitty boosted his profile yet further in the 2011 series of ITV's Dancing on Ice and also took part in the live UK tour.

Dave is also the voice of Channel 4's 'Coach Trip'.

Dave's experience in front of the camera is just as extensive as his radio CV. As well as The Weakest Link, he has appeared on Ready, Steady, Cook and has presented Shed Sports 1 on Nuts TV. He has made many appearances on shows like Hole in the Wall and Celebrity Mastermind both on BBC1. He has also appeared as a guest on Fifth Gear and worked on Match of the Day 2, Football Focus on BBC1 and as a guest on the ESPN sports network as a celebrity panelist.
